I am gonna tell you something which going to save you money. I dont want to go the details. This TV is so good. HD contents look amazing crisp even the SD via Freeview HD looks very sharp.It looks good because I know this TV has built in upscaler for SD contents.But there are some really crappy SD contents they are just pure awful and dont blame the TV for that. Let me tell you the thing you didnt know about this TV. LG isselling this Tv as HD ready but amazingly this is a Full HD 1080p TV! Yea you heard me right.This is a 1080P TV. It can take all 1080p sources. 1080P TV in this price!
The Magic remote is an extra purchase. But there is an App for it on appstore. Download it on your iPhone and it works like a charm!
And this TV does have a LAN RJ45 port on the back.So if you dont want to buy the LG wifi dongle you can connect this TV via Ethernet port. great!
And all other functions like Smart TV, 3D they all work just fine.They dont have much app but for the time being BBCi player, Netflix, Youtube, Lovefilm and some other apps are there.
I am not a huge 3D guy.But I think I would prefer passive 3D.I think I feel bit dizzy after a while wearing the active glasses which is not the case with passive glasses while I am on cinema watching 3D because in cinemas they use passive 3D.
Freeview guide is very well laid out. It has reminder and record function. If you connect a external USB HDD then TV becomes a DVR!! What else more do you want from this TV!!
For the functions and price you can not beat this TV. You have to Shell out more than a grand on other brands to have all this features.
